Review- Ksenia “Ready For Hollywood” At Hollywood Fringe Festival 6/24/23

With insatiable laughter, hysterical sensibility, comical song, and a little Russian madness, comedian and songstress Ksenia took the Hollywood Fringe by storm with her one woman showcase “Ready For Hollywood.” She shares a journey with the crowd beginning with her tiny Russian village through the depths of LA, her fucked up parents, and her shitty Tinder dates with laughter and song.

The unfiltered Queen of comedy is recognized for her darkly absurd musical take on many of life‘s biggest issues. She has performed at The Comedy Store, The Laugh Factory, and Comedy Cellar NYC, with skits on MTV, and Laugh After Dark. “Her one-hour special is a personal look into the passions that drove her to leave her Russian home in pursuit of her dream and showcases a unique perspective that’s garnering the attention of Yakov Smirnoff.

She doesn’t take the worlds opinion as a guiding star, but goes her own way in life. She is neither depressed by failure or seduced by applause. But she is a spark of joy that moves within surprising places like the firefly’s ethereal glow. Her show is for the wild at heart, as no one does it like Ksenia.
