Album Review: Giorgia Fumanti  “Cinema Collection”

“Music is well said to be the speech of angels, in fact, nothing among the utterances allowed to man is felt so divine, it brings us near to the infinite”…. Thomas Carlyle.

International, award-winning classical singer and pop crossover artist recently released an astounding and inspirational new album entitled “Cinema Collection”, a story of human existence embracing the eternal music of the soul, heart, and emotions. The touching collection celebrates songs by some of the greatest film composers, including John Barry, John Williams, Henry Mancini, Giorgio Moroder, Ennio Morricone and others from films that will remain in our hearts for eternity.

The iconic album journeys through films including: Breakfast At Tiffany’s, City of Angels, Out of Africa, Schindlers List, Wizard of Oz, Top Gun, Kismet and others and was spawned by Giorgia’s love and passion for movie tunes. Giorgia’s heavenly and haunting voice delivers wave after wave of heart stopping, intoxicating color, lighting up the world like fireworks, plunging into the night sky, and shattering the darkness. Her voice touches people. Music is the primal expression that we reshape and refine, which is but one of Giorgia’s gifts…. the ability to interpret her songs in refreshing ways that have never been heard before.

For Giorgia this album is not just a mere adventure but rather the substance that dreams are made of. It’s as if she is on a spiritual quest and God himself propels her chariot of fire…
