Exclusive Interviw with Crownz

Hello Crownz! Thank you for speaking with me today!

You recently released your song ‘You’! Will you tell us a bit about it?

We actually are still working on our newest music and EP but the song “YOU” is about feeling trapped inside your head and current situations in your life that you feel you can’t get out of. but if you believe in yourself and can see that there is a way out, YOU can accomplish anything without anybody holding you back.

What was the song writing process for it?

We are currently working with a new producer out of Orlando named Austin Hull, who is amazing by the way. Our process for writing this new song and Ep is us and Austin will send ideas back and forth until we have a solid song structure then we will get some drums, guitar, and vocals on the tracks! Then from there it’s mixing and mastering!

Who are some of your biggest musical influences?

Some of our biggest inspirations to our music consist of PVRIS, CHVRCHES, Twenty One Pilots, The 1975, and Waterparks.

Who would be a dream collaboration for you?

A couple collaborations we would love to do would be Miley Cyrus, Grandson, Paramore, MGK, Kellin Quinn, and Oliver Sykes.

Do you have a mantra or piece of advice you carry with you that you like to pass on to other musicians?

We live by living out your dreams and aspirations how YOU want to and not letting people or things get in the way or change what you feel in your heart. When it comes to our fanbase we want everyone to feel welcome and loved and embrace our music with the emotion that we put into making it!

Any other upcoming projects we should be on the lookout for?

We are in the process of finishing up song 3 of 5 of our EP, so definitely be on the lookout for that!
