Exclusive Interview with Bud Abbott

Hi Bud! Great to have you here!

Do you have a favorite holiday film?

To be honest, I am not much of a film guy. I do watch some Netflix but have not been to a movie in several years. I still do like, A Christmas Carol. It is a wonderful articulation of how people can change and the mystical process associated with dreams, guilt, redemption.

What is your favorite holiday book?

Books are wonderful and I have just completed my first book, “TRANSFORMATION the 60-second mind body practice integrating tai chi and yoga to manage stress and unlock your potential.”

I am presently reading META HUMAN by Deepak Chopra. Deep stuff about what we scientifically know and our potential to change our plastic brain.

What is the best gift you have ever given?

Maybe a poem that I wrote and placed in a pretty vase that I sent my mom.  She kept it for over 40 years.  But maybe the times when the kids tore into the packages under the Christmas tree and paper and ribbons were all over the place and the dog was digging through the pile with the children.

What is the best gift you have ever received?

Without a doubt, the gift of being raised by committed loving parents that encouraged me to fully express my talents and live my desires.

Would you rather spend the holidays in the mountains or at the beach?

Give me the waves at the beach to surf in and play. During dental work, I migrate my consciousness to a white sandy beach with palm trees and a gentle surf.  I grew up in San Diego surfing and water skiing. Wherever I live there must be a view of the water

When do you feel you are at your personal best?

There are moments, sometimes hours when I am locked in on the experience. There becomes only one reality and I am in the grips of it.  It may be singing an original song, writing a chapter in a book, or designing a research project. These are special moments when every movement, keystroke, or sound from my voice is a creative expression of my present and ancestral genome as trumpeted at that moment.

What is your favorite holiday treat?

Well, no shame in it, but I am a chocolate nut especially for Almond Roca. Do not get between me and a box of chocolate.
