From the United States to Europe many of todays  fastest rising electro-stars are making their mark upon the world’s stage. These artists are capturing the ears and hearts of the masses everywhere via some tantalizing music. One artist in particular is non-other than Pablo Moriego currently signed to ADRO Records.

Moriego has released close to a dozen releases this year alone. Many of these exuberant offerings deliver the listener an epic explosion of sound reminiscent of classic Euro-Electro Dance style music at its pinnacle. These movements simulate the senses and invigorate the imagination. Focusing on gems like “Unbrace”, “Addiction” and “Someday” these methodical movements stand-alone showcasing a world class writing talent. Timing and beat vocabulary are impressive delivering a vivid spectrum of sound within each sonic statement. His melodic instincts are nothing short of electrifying. All songs call out to cult audiences across the globe via a catalogue that is melodic, explosive, dark, unpredictable, interesting, unpredictable and thought provoking. These are just some of the words I would use to describe Moriego.

Musical textures reminiscent of The Chemical Brothers, Gaia, Dash Berlin, W&W, Shogun and Rank 1. I can even hear Pendulum, Junkie XL and Lunatic calm. Pretty much anything ambient and infectious in stature and personality. Some pieces are thought provoking and methodically throbbing. If you like those kinds of artists you will no doubt get an attraction to Moriego. There are a plethora songs I would recommend to any fan of this style of music available on the BEATPORT portal linked above. Notables include Electrologic Derivatives Volume 8, Lsd, Throw Back – Four. Are all very simple yet effective, conservative, highly original and passionate. Moriego strikes the prefect balance between Ambient Theatrics and Passionate Dance Orchestration and is clearly just letting it all hang out as a songwriter. The end result is what comes out of the other side – unfettered brilliance.

Some of my favorite pieces via the BEATPORT portal are as follows “Shut the Door”, “Zorba”, “Shift”, “Unbrace feat Miper”, “Addiction feat Exlls” and all the songs on “A Decade of Pregrezo Records Pt 4,5,6,7.” My favorite of the Progrezo series is a toss-up between Pt 4 and 6 catalogues. Many of these releases are perfect for late night college parties, dance clubs, coffeehouses, or even magazine shops. Mogeigo’s body of work clearly deliver a wide latitude lot of musical variety. All production strokes possess amazing high end touches and brilliant low end frequency.

I give Moriego high marks for taking chances with him music. Moriego is not trying to be some catchy Euro-Ambient composer striving for mass appeal – he’s just being himself. That typically is a formula for success. The music refuses to try to hard – that’s what makes it so amazing The good: very likeable, marketable series of songs all possessing  a very unique signature sound. Moriego’s pieces via the BEATPORT portal are breathtaking. The songwriting is clearly above average. The production gets its point across well. Again the most amazing thing about Moriego is his consistency via this complete volume of workclarly making him a premier talent in Europe.
